Andrew W. Hager
Andrew joined Hager Investments in 1995 as a research associate. After a year and a half of mentoring from Peter Hager, Andrew left to pursue a MBA from Bentley College. While earning his MBA and living in the Boston area, Andrew worked at Smith Barney as an assistant to two brokers. Andrew rejoined Hager Investments in 1997 as an Investment Officer and became a Partner of the firm in 2001. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitman College, a MBA from Bentley College and holds a Series 65 securities license.
Andrew is an active skier, hiker and trail runner and currently serves on the board of the Sunapee, Ragged, Kearsarge Greenway Coalition as Treasurer. He has been a member of the New London, NH Rotary Club since 2006. He served as Treasurer of the New London Outing Club from 2013 to 2015, Treasurer of the New London Historical Society from 2010 to 2012 and was Treasurer of Slope ‘n Shore Club from 2007 to 2010. Andrew served two terms as a Trustee of Trust Funds for the Town of New London from 2007 to 2013 and was on the Investment Committee of The Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust from 2008 to 2012.
Andrew, his wife Jenn, and two daughters reside in New London, NH.
Peter E. Hager
Prior to founding Hager Investment Management Services in 1982, Peter had over nineteen years of security analysis and portfolio management experience with leading financial institutions. He began his career with Prudential Insurance Company of America where he was successively Investment Analyst, Senior Investment Analyst and Investment Manager. Peter then joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as an Investment Officer and later transitioned to the mutual fund industry. At both Keystone Custodian Funds, and Colonial Management Associates, Inc. he became Vice President and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. At Colonial his responsibilities included the fixed income investment management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology endowment and pension funds, the Dartmouth College endowment fund, the Colonial Income Fund and State Mutual Securities, a closed end bond fund. He holds a Series 63 securities license.
He remains an active partner in Hager Investments and also holds positions as a trustee and chair of the investment committee of New London Hospital, a member of the investment committee of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, and trustee of the First Baptist Church of New London, NH. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. An avid life-long golfer, Peter served fourteen years as a director of the New Hampshire Golf Association including two years as president.
He and his wife Carolyn reside in New London, NH.
Robin C. Brigham
Investment Management Associate
Robin Brigham joined Hager Investment Management in October 2015 as an Associate, assisting in Portfolio Administration, Portfolio Management and Marketing. Robin has 12 years of investment planning and management experience. In 1987 she earned a Series 7 license and worked as a financial consultant for a brokerage firm in McLean, VA. In 1989 she joined Chevy Chase Financial Services, a subsidiary of one the largest regional banks in the Washington, D.C. area. There she became Assistant Vice President advising bank customers in achieving their investment needs. She also obtained securities licenses Series 63, 24, 65 and Life and Health. In July 1997 she transitioned to a traditional brokerage firm, Merrill Lynch Private Client Group in McLean, VA, where she excelled as Financial Planner and Portfolio Manager for high net worth individuals, managing a book of $22 million.
In 2000 Robin married a U.S. Army officer and happily settled into a life as a stay home mom for her two young daughters. In 2008 her husband retired from the Army, and they moved to New Hampshire.
With her daughters in middle school Robin decided to rejoin the work force. In October 2013 she took an exceptionally rewarding position as Office Manager at their church, Kearsarge Community Presbyterian, in New London. In October 2015 she started with Hager Investments, pleased to return to the financial world and to helping clients realize their investment goals.
